Julia Halina Hadas is the bestselling author and creator of WitchCraft Cocktails, where she combines her expertise in witchcraft, mixology, and astrology for intentional cocktails and mocktails. Coby Michael is an occult herbalist and magical practitioner specializing in the ritual use of poisonous and psychoactive plants. He studied religion at Arizona State University and has been a folk herbalist since a young age. He owns and operates The Poisoner’s Apothecary, an online shop and educational resource for The Poison Path. Coby has been blogging since 2016 and is a prolific writer, including articles for This Witch Magazine, The Witches' Almanac, and Alraune. Laura Dávila
Laura Dávila is a fifth-generation Mexican witch and practitioner of ensalmería, hechicería, brujería, and folk Catholicism. Born and raised in Mexico, she has lived in the United States since 2010, carrying forward ancestral traditions rooted in land, spirit, and the everyday ritual of Mexico. She identifies as a bruja de rancho, a “ranch witch”, a term that reflects a deep relationship with botanicals, desert and rural landscapes, and the natural forces that shape Mexican folk magic. Her practice was passed down through her grandmother's, forming the foundation of her work today.
Laura is the founder of Brujería de Rancho, a space dedicated to traditional spiritual tools, education, and ritual practice. She is also a Tarot and la Baraja Española reader and has participated in spiritual and cultural events throughout Mexico and the United States, offering workshops, teachings, and community experiences.
She is the author of Mexican Sorcery: A Practical Guide to Brujería de Rancho and Mexican Magic: Brujería Spells and Rituals for All Occasions, with a third book forthcoming in early 2027.
