Consuming Ritual, edible magic beyond kitchen witchery - 1 Hour Workshop
Led By: Lizzie Arden
Whether blessing food to consume or blessing a loved one with food, magic has been consumed for millennia. Offerings to the dead, the deities, to entice love, and so much more.
The workshop would begin with a lecture touching on several key rituals involving food from a variety of practices around the world. Everything from Buddhist monks slowly mummifying themselves with tea, to the Catholic eucharist.
Then join in a group ritual to bless a shared treat. Then all attendees would get to enjoy a slice of blessings together.
